What is the weather like in Gozo?
Gozo typically experiences a Mediterranean climate with short, mild, wet winters and hot, dry summers. We enjoy more than 300 sunny days every year, which makes Gozo a perfect getaway destination. Here is a general overview of the weather you can expect in Gozo:
Summer (June to August) – Gozo experiences hot and dry summers with temperatures 30°C – 35°C. It rarely rains in the summer months.
Autumn (September to November) – Autumn in Gozo is generally warm and pleasant. The temperatures gradually decrease, ranging from 25°C to 30°C. Rainfall starts to increase, especially in November.
Winter (December to February) – Gozo’s winters are mild but can be wet. Temperatures typically range from 12°C to 18°C. While it’s relatively cool, it rarely experiences freezing temperatures. Winter is the rainiest and the windiest season, with occasional storms.
Spring (March to May) – Spring in Gozo is a comfortable time to visit. It is becoming warmer, but not too hot, with temperatures 15°C – 22°C. The island becomes more vibrant with blooming flowers. Rainfall decreases as spring progresses.
